Masumi Hayashi and David Hockney are photo montage photographers. Masumi Hayashi portrays political issues through her work and has a main focus on Pearl Harbor and WW1, Hayashi's work is very organized and symmetrical. David Hockney's work is very abstract and creates illusions with his work; Hockney's work is messy and placed at a "blind eye" since he places them at random. The difference between Hayashi's work and Hockney's work is that Hayashi's work is more organized and symmetrical rather than Hockey's that his work is placed at random and isn't symmetrical as well as it overlaps. Hayashi's work also has a main focus on garden and landscapes and Hockney's work doesn't follow a theme. These two photos are my favorite from the photographer David Hockney because I really like this 3D illusion these photos portray and how its messy, I live for a messy look in art work. With that said my favorite photographer is David Hockney I like how his work is layered out and the illusions it creates .

I chose this photographer because I love how extra his photos can be, it shows this life of an extravagant luxury within his photos. I also love his work with angles and leading lines, and diagonals that he uses with the models. His work creates emotions the way he works his angles in his photography. What I dislike about his photos is that they are completely superficial.
The difference between photo journalism and photo documentary is that photo journalism is a type of journalism that employs images in order to tell a news story. While photo documentary is used to chornicle events that impact our enviroment/society through images. They are similar because both photo journalism and photo documentary are used to portray a story with the use of impacting images. I don't feel like one is more valid than the other, because both have important value to a story. These images show the difference between photo journalism and photo documentary because as you see the black and white photo, interprets a story line through its exposure it's much easier to assume the story, as well as it seems most likely to appear through the media. While the picture in color, you see a much more grieveable enviroment, where you want to know more. It follows an impacting truth. You can tell there is more than just a photograph there, there is a lot to question.
Hannu Huhtamo is a very talented light painting photographer. His work is very actually impressive as he avoids the middle, uses correct amount of contrast with their lighting, and uses lots of leading lines. Adding on, he uses the appropriate shutter speed, and aperture. What I really like about his work is the designs he draws with light and how for some apparent reason the photos seems to stand tall and sophisticated. Though, I do dislike that some photos seem overwhelmed. Meaning that the picture is space and there is no space to move. But overall Hunnu Huhtamo is an impressive photogrpaher.
Practicing motion blur was harder than I actually thought I found it harder with the lighting it was to bright or I didn't keep my subject in focus. Yet what I found successful was creating leading lines with the artificial fluorescent lights. Overall, it is harder than it seems to create a successful photo.
BEFORE What is wrong with this photo is there too much light in the photo distracting it from the focus point. As well as it isn't blurred properly leading it blur part of the focus point which in this case is the girl. I believe they didn't use the reflector correctly as well as the photographer didn't properly set the aperture allowing there to much way too much light in the photo. What can be improved is to use the black reflector to reduce some light and fix their aperture as well as their shutter speed so that the rainbow wont come out and distract the focus point. AFTER
Texture layering is blending a texture with a photo creating a different effect for the photo. What I found successful about layering was finding what i wanted to layer and as well as the process of layering was fairly simple and quick. What I found challenging was choosing which effect I wanted my texture to create with many different options i found it difficult to only choose one.
